Istanbul is hosting an important strategic summit that attracts international attention. The organization, featuring high-level figures from nine countries as speakers, began with the opening speech by DÜNYA-MER President Prof. Dr. Semih Koray.
The first session, chaired by Prof. Dr. Fouad Izadi, concluded with presentations by Former US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer Scott Ritter, Vatan Party Chairman Dr. Doğu Perinçek, and Prof. Dr. Sergey Glazyev, who participated online.
The second session, chaired by Bulgarian Revival Party MP Angel Georgiev, ended after the participants completed their presentations. In the session, CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu, Istinye University Head of Department Rtd. Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Fahri Erenel, Italian CESEM Expert Alessandro Fanetti, and Former German Naval Forces Commander Kay-Achim Schönbach, who connected online, delivered their speeches.
FOUR MAJOR SESSIONS IN TWO DAYS
The program of the international conference, consisting of four sessions in total, is planned to span two days. Presentations are being made through both physical participation and online connections from different parts of the world.
PROMINENT FIGURES IN THE FIRST DAY’S PROGRAM
The first session of the conference, held on Friday, June 26, was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fouad Izadi from Tehran University. In this session, former US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer Scott Ritter, Vatan Party Chairman Dr. Doğu Perinçek, and Russian Academy of Sciences Member Prof. Sergey Glazyev gave presentations.
The second session of the day convened under the chairmanship of Bulgarian Revival Party MP Angel Georgiev. Speakers of the second session included CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu, Former German Naval Forces Commander Kay-Achim Schönbach, Istinye University Faculty Member Rtd. Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Fahri Erenel, and Italian CESEM Expert Alessandro Fanetti.

THE EVENT CONTINUES WITH GLOBAL PARTICIPATION
The third session, to be held on Saturday, June 27, will start under the moderation of Rtd. Brig. Gen. Haldun Solmaztürk. In this section, New Welfare Party Istanbul MP Doğan Bekin, Iranian Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Alireza Kouhkan, Serbian Movement of Socialists Committee President Bojan Vulin, and Italian Rtd. General Francesco Cosimato will take the floor.
In the final session of the conference, chaired by Azerbaijan 6th Term MP Elşad Mirbeşiroğlu, Rtd. Ambassador Fatih Ceylan, American Communist Party CEC Member Jackson Hinkle, Deputy Director of the Institute from the People’s Republic of China Liu Xu, and Hacettepe University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdem İlker Mutlu will share their evaluations on the global security architecture.
